Sutterville Preschool has nurtured the children of Land Park, the Pocket and surrounding Sacramento areas since 1952. With a guiding philosophy of "Play is Children's Work" we offer a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere where children can learn about themselves, their environment and other people through creative and imaginative play. Our teachers strive to give our students as much freedom as possible to explore their environment and relationships to others in an atmosphere where they feel loved and supported.

As a cooperative preschool, parents are as much a part of the school as the children. When you enroll in Sutterville, you join a family not just a school.

Sutterville Preschool's program offers a unique combination of free play time and structured learning experiences to stimulate and support your child's development. Our curriculum is designed to meet the California Pre-K state standards and is continuously being updated to meet the specific needs of our students. Our approach has been proven to build confidence and a love of learning that is essential for years of future success in the classroom.

Our program operates five days a week, with two sessions each day: 9:00 - 11:30 am and 12:30 - 3:00 pm. The membership includes a total of 80 families with a combination of participating and non-participating spots.

We are still working on registration for the 2012-2013 school year.

Families who are on the waitlist, but did not receive a call, will be notified if a spot becomes available for their child.

We are currently registering children for 2013-2014, 2014-2015 and 2015-2016.
